Last day at physiotherapy

What a long jorney here.

This last day was really strange. I met great guys here that made those 'bad times' became 'good times'. I learned a lot and surely improved myself.

All that I have to say is "Thnak you guys" for this important step in my life.

Thanks to everyone in COE clinic, dr. Sergio Mainine and his staff and everyone that helped me in those last 7 months.

Thanks.

NO PROBLEMS FOUND!

Amazing sensation! You have no idea!

After reviewing ALL my exams the cardiologyst anounced that I'm fine! No problems, no sequels - nothing!

So, now it's time to push harder on cardio training and get back as soon as possible to my sports :)

How are heart and lungs?

Ok, all exams are here. X ray, Lung scintigraphy, tomography and blood test. Everything is ready to be evaluated by the doctor but I just couldn't take a look on them. In fact, I'm afraid of the results, afraid of seing something not clear in them. Doctors don't use an easy to understand language, they just don't put on the report something like "Fabiano's lung and heart are superb!"... no! There's always some obscure and really techinical terms that are barely impossible to understand and may make me feel terrible until my meeting with my doctor. Well, until tomorrow I'll have a 'long time to wait'.

Soccer - First attempt

Today I tried a few shots and the debit was clear. Really strange going back to the field and way stranger making the shots.

No a lot of shoots but at the end I was doing good, not so 'bizarre' and no pain, even when running. Talking about running, today I speedup the treadmill and achieve the 13km/h with no pain!

Good news.... just good news :-)

Isokinetic test

Hey doctor, not so close, ok?

"If you don't have problems is because you were not examinated enought" - I'm not sure who created this, but it's all truth!

Today I did the isokinetic test (don't know what it is? Look here) to evaluate how much should I improve my muscles on the right leg. Do you know what I discovered? The muscles on the left leg are unbalanced! LOL

Yeap, now I have to workout the flexor of the left leg (the one that I hadn't surgery) and the extensor for the right leg.

Soon I'll post some more details about the exam.

Endurance + Proprioception

Endurance training again.

Tires a lot! After I continued the proprioception training:
- Lateral jumps - lots on a 10 minutes, 1 jumping and 1 resting.
- Alternate jumps - jumping landing with both feet and then jumping again to the mini-tramp and landing in one foot.

The session was completed with laser treatment to try to reduce the pain I fell while running (in fact doesn't hurt that much)

Accelerating

Faster and painless!

Great day at gym. First I could go faster on treadmill, setting it at 11km/h for 2 minutes and (the best part) with minimal pain.

The regular exercises where normal, except the leg press that I put 160kgs with no problems. I made tests in the extensor with more wheight but I couldn't keep a long serie.

I'm felling better, mainly hearing from one of the instructors that my improvement is clearly visible. This kind of thing always make us keep up.

Next week I'll go play soccer for the first time since the injury... in fact I'll just participate in the warm up, making some shots and "easier" things.... Let's see what happens ;-)

6 Months

6 months!

This is one of the most important milestones! After 6 months the main physiological changes are completed and the ligament is "ready" to work at full load again. Important: the ligament is fine but, in my case, it's time to keep the intensive work for the muscular part, which is not so well.
